You know I always been wondering...are George A. Romero (Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Land of the Dead, etc) is related to John Romero since they both have the surnames?

Romero is a very common Hispanic name. There's also Caesar Romero, the guy who played Joker in the old Batman show.

I'm not related to Bob Woodward or the Woodwards of Bainbridge Island who fought for the rights of all the Japanese living there who were sent to interment camps, though all of them are pretty cool people.

Yeah, and romero can mean "pilgrim" as an adjective (derived from "Roman" in Latin). It is also "rosemary bush" as a noun, although the last name is most likely derived from the adjective.
