Who?
I've seen a fair share of Fox through the dailyshow and youtube clips berating them for their lack of ethics. But I can't remember ever seeing this guy.
They're saying now that he had some hip problems and a bout of staph infection that could have killed him back in late 2008. He was going to get yet another operation on it (No. 3!) this morning.
I cursed him a couple weeks ago when he came on the tv blaring about some product or other. I don't think I said or thought "I hope he dies" but I didn't have anything good to say about him (I said something mean but don't remember what) and I demanded my grandmother turn the tv off 'till the obnoxious ad was over. Now I kinda feel bad.
The static image from the video was the shower knob with the words Without Ammonia and Without Bleach. I thought the idea of a shower knob with the those options to be extremely amusing. You can either have a shower without ammonia, but with bleach, or a shower without bleach but with ammonia. As for Billy Mays, he always rather annoyed me. Hocking products with dubious qualities in a loud voice. Didn't seem like a bad guy, but the only affect he had on me was that he made me want to change the channel. I can only hear about Oxiclean and mighty putty so many times, but it's a real shame it was him and not Offer Shlomi.
Autopsy: Cocaine contributed to Billy Mays' death:
The medical examiner "concluded that cocaine use caused or contributed to the development of his heart disease, and thereby contributed to his death," the office said in a press release.
Wierd, I would have never thought he was on cocaine.
