The way to fix that is to wear scarves all the time so the emo kids stop liking them. :D

Lots of guys here wear them. Maybe Canadians don't care if they look gay. ;)

Well, the scarf I posted is pretty homosexual looking. And maybe, that's a good plan... either that or they'll think you're one of them and want your butt lul.

Gosh... we only got 3 inches here over the past couple of days, and our temps have been ~25F. Makes me really really glad not to live in the northeast/mountains. I have to stand outdoors for 3 hrs. tonight... greeeat, looking forward to that shit.

We got a shitstorm of snow dumped on us again yesterday, adding another foot or so to the roughly two feet we already had. They're calling for even more on monday, but I don't think it'll be more than a couple inches. Everything has been closed for the entire week. Public schools will probably be closed well into next week because they're literally running out of room for all this snow. I haven't been to class since last thursday, and even my work has been closed. I'm starting to get cabin fever..

Dry as a bone here again. We've only had snow here thrice this year: October, December and Last week.Still snow on the ground from December. Hopefully March will be better because that's when we get the most snow. I do all my skiing late season. May 5? Yes, please.

We don't have snow days. They don't exist here. If we get a foot of snow we keep going with the understanding that half our colleagues just won't make it to work or school. And at school they don't cancel recess unless it goes under -22 C. Dress warm! Leave early! :D

Well, American companies here seem to have snow days sometimes. Dell just about did one time when they were warning of a blizzard. They even set up a hotline so we could call and find out if there was work. Of course, they also designed that building to be used in Texas so maybe it wouldn't have been a good idea to be there in a blizzard.

Yeah, I noticed that. I have a good view of the Olympics from where I'm living (actually I'm practically staring the Brothers in the face), and I noticed that the winter snow has already half-melted off of them.

haha, yeah, that was ridiculous. Boy Umass has to feel stupid. I think they did that because at the end of last semester we should have had school called and they dind't call it. Quite dumb tho. We barely got an inch in Amherst, MA. I wish people would say where they are where it is -4 or where there is snow etc. All states except one have received snow this winter. Can you guess which one didn't ? :p
