I hope not!

The graphical mess that you see has been really wide-spread with many users filing complaints. Blizzard's phased out quite a bit of a video cards that they would support, mine being one of them. Running in OpenGL as opposed to d3d and disabling all of the new features seemed to do the trick. It doesn't really matter now, patch 4 broke the game. I'm so done with wow.

I was pretty deep into it, I'm not gonna lie. Actually, playing Greenwar 2 and Sunder made me feel like some sort of relic that would never be able to keep up with the whipper snappers making these epic maps.

Maybe. Mine was a combination of poverty and rage over end game content. I hate how much more fun it is to level than do end game stuff, yet they kept quickening the leveling process and making more end-game grinding bullshit. Oh well.

The main reason I haven't gone back at this point is because of Activision. Fuck their shit.

they even wanna make "starcraft the movie" based on the sc2 cinematics

4e was actually good, and even if it was a cash grab by Wizards, it's definitely a more solid system than 3.5.

On the other hand, now that Bobby Kotick is in charge of Activision, pretty much everything they do is 100% fueled by greed. That guy is a major league dick, and he's going to run the entire company into the ground after all their franchises go stale (since he intends to make one game per franchise a year. Apparently Blizzard has slightly freer reigns when it comes to making their games, but I still would prefer not to line that asshole's pockets.
