It has been four days, and the giveaway is now closed.

Every member except Bouncy will receive an extra bottle in the mail. Bouncy is not eligible because the reserves ran out. However, he will receive something else as compensation.

I will journey up to Nashua in a few hours to start brewing the root beer. I'll let everyone know how it turns out as well.

Lets get some more for next year!

HOUSTON, WE HAVE HAD A PROBLEM.

I went up to the UPS store yesterday to calculate how much it would cost. The total cost (shipping AND packaging) came to OVER TWO-HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS.

Before I proceed, I'd like to mention I AM NOT CANCELLING THIS GIVEAWAY. So take a breath of relief and chill out.

What this means is that I am going to have to save up for the money. I'm not broke, but I'm in no position to toss $250 at ANYTHING. You guys are going to have to give me some time to get this stuff together, but it should only take a week of two.

Again, I am not asking for donations. NO ONE IS PAYING FOR ANYTHING. This out of MY pocket, not anyone else's.

I'd prefer it if I did myself, to be honest. I appreciate your support, but I don't want anyone to have to pay. It diminishes the spirit of the giveaway.

They're probably just making sure that any liquids are properly packed and secured. Or maybe they're scared to death that you might be trying to send an alcoholic beverage through the mail. Either way it's a moot point, since it appears Mr. Freeze is planning on using UPS...
