I always considered having my first helled thread be something with a title like "CHECK OUT THIS BITCH STROKING HER PUSSY OMG" and the actual post being a picture of a woman holding a cat.

Instead, it was a damn bandwagon thread.

"Views" might be a better indicator, because it counts views after it was helled (post-Post Hell?) as well, I believe, so it's all the classics people have gone back to read again and again. *looks* Well, maybe not...#2 and #3 are crap threads. The first one is the very first post, however.

Anyway, it seems that all the threads of mine that get Helled were serious threads that some mods had a problem with, while my actual troll attempts never get thrown into Hell.

Speaking of Post Hell, any particular reason why using the search box (if you disable the fire via disabling javascript, or using the tab key) results in a "You do not have permission to access this page" error message?

Yeah, "Views" would be a useful indicator except for the fact that when a thread has been split, both portions inherit the views count of the original thread. So splitting and helling from a popular thread can lead to small fragments with large view counts.

I believe searching in Post Hell is a moderator-only function. I don't know why. BTW, if you don't want to disable Javascript, you can also get at some of the stuff at the bottom by narrowing your viewing window.

Well, you'll never reply to be though and i'd doubt you visit DoomWorld ever again (you only joined last month).

But, If he knows nothing about Doom, how does he know all this technical information on the Doom engine that I lookup to see if it's true or not?

I have contributed to a lot of threads that landed in post hell. (They're usually very funny) A recent thread I made that got helled was on april 20th asking if people could post links to some wads Eric Harris made. I was kinda trying to be legitimate but the mods saw it as troll bait. I respect their decision, and had received my links via PM from some very helpful people anyway, so I've got no complaints.

Haven't started a single thread in Post Hell - what am I doing wrong?
