Beavis and Butthead is getting some new episodes, and I'm very fond of this. If King of the Hill were to somehow come back, then my life, as far as cartoons go, would be complete.

Yoat Brittany Murphy's dead, right? There's no way they could bring it back.

Oh yeah, Luann was such a great character.

But then again, I'm sure they can find other voices.

I think King of the Hill ended on a good note, so I hope they don't ruin it.

It was a great show. I just wish it didn't become a meme, takes a lot of the greatness in it, and makes it just seem odd.

King of the Hill is easily the best cartoon since the Simpsons in their prime. I love the shit out of that show. The subtlety of it is astonishing.

The earlier episodes were fantastic. I sat watching a few of the more recent episodes and I couldn't wait for them to be over.

King of the Hill was an awesome show. I have to admit I missed the last couple seasons, though, so I can't say for sure weather or not it had jumped the shark by the time it was cancelled.

It didn't.

Funny thing is, King of the Hill did several things that are usually indicative of shark jumping:

1) Introduce a new and eccentric character late in the show (Lucky, voiced by Tom Petty)

2) Have a character go through a fundamental change (Luann gets pregnant and has a child)

3) Kill off a popular character (Hank's dad, Cotton)

And yet all this did was add that much more variety to the show. It was really smart.

I remember Lucky showing up around the time I stopped watching. I heard about the other two.

Felt this was relevant, but this is certainly better than the newer episodes coming on now, and I found it less boring.

there's enough episodes to stuff yourself dumbfull of that shit, maybe its time to remove that american stereotype (wich is terribly common irl though) and get bright for once (so that I can hear it)
imagine replacing this with programs containing science in all forms

how many of you dont know that the sun is a star?
(I spat out my drink when I saw this)

I'm reminded of my friend Penny, who is taking a physics course. She was surprised to learn that a number of her classmates could not differentiate between the galaxy and the universe; in their minds, there might as well only be our galaxy. It's astonishing how some of these basic astronomical facts go over so many people's heads. By the time I was seven, I was aware that many galaxies existed. But that's because I grew up reading about that kinda shit.

For me, the Simpsons was the best in the early to mid 2000's. I didn't really dig the 90's stuff, but I do agree that these latest Simpsons have been absolute shit.

Not everyone is born with the kind of brain you need to find "that kinda shit" interesting. When someone is ignorant of a piece of trivia that you feel should be common knowledge, try not to see it as a symptom of stupidity or laziness - they might just have other things they prefer to think about.

I never said they were stupidity or lazy, I just think it should be as common as say, knowing the Earth is not flat.
