Is anyone else seeing this as much as I am? Its almost like every other time I go here, there is a white page saying "database error" followed by refresh and other options. A few times is alright, but its happening quite often now.

Haven't seen that error screen for a couple of weeks. AFAIK it's a server error which requires human intervention to bring the forums back online, so I usually find something else to do and check back at half-hour intervals.

The error says "too many connections on line 40" or something. Does that mean we'll never break the "most users online" record?

It happened to me last night. Usually a refresh will make it stop but last night it didn't, I had to wait a few hours. Other than that it happens every once in a while.

It's easy to do if you reply to everything going on. I had a point where I averaged 100+ per day on ND (hence my title). A few of us were using the place like a chatroom.

If you're asking about the .74 part, there's this neat thing called statistics... :p
