gaspe Posted April 8, 2015 RUSH said:Fucking yes man, Cirith Ungol are awesome! Glad to see another fan of them on here. Probably the pinnacle of classic 80's Prog Metal. The whole album is fantastic Cheers mate :) they became one of my favourite bands as soon i discovered them, majestic songs and a great unique sound! And here's something else for the 80's bands lovers: 0 Share this post Link to post
DeathevokatioN Posted April 9, 2015 Fuck yeah, Cirith Ungol! Anyway, here's something a little different... http://i.imgur.com/iVjtqqK.jpg?1 0 Share this post Link to post
RUSH Posted April 10, 2015 If you guys like Cirith Ungol you should definitely check out Manilla Road. Fantastic fantasy 80's metal band: 0 Share this post Link to post
DeathevokatioN Posted April 11, 2015 Dunno if I posted this a year ago in this thread or something, but whatever; probably my favorite late 90's Swedish death metal album, total ripping, thrashing, obscure Swedish death metal with evil melodies that add to the atmosphere without compromising on brutality. Totally captures spirit of early 90's melodic (pre Slaughter of the Soul) Swedish death metal! ... killer stuff! 0 Share this post Link to post
gaspe Posted April 12, 2015 I dont know if it has been already posted but this is another great album: And if you want to give a try to something different: 0 Share this post Link to post
Velvetic Posted April 15, 2015 It's not metal, nor rock, but it's still one of the best songs from one of the best albums of all time: 0 Share this post Link to post

FireFish Posted April 15, 2015 This topic always breaks firefox when i enter it, if not i would have posted here a bit more. I really liked this band for the last two and a half years. Lyrics with a meaning, a massive thick wall of guitars producing bass, interesting song structures. And a vocalist screaming his mind away. In this song he really nails the brutality of his scream and it strengthens the lyrics. 0 Share this post Link to post

Kontra Kommando Posted April 16, 2015 Saw them live in Brooklyn, last weekend. Amazing performance! 0 Share this post Link to post
DeathevokatioN Posted April 16, 2015 Such a surreal song and a great vocal performance, gave me shivers when I relistened to it. 0 Share this post Link to post
FireFish Posted April 16, 2015 I would suggest this band to anybody liking a dark tone, but at the same time easy going but well played rock / metal sound. Really atmospheric, has this inexplicable old-school vibe. 0 Share this post Link to post

HELL YES man, Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow is seriously one of the greatest rock bands to ever exist. Their second album Rising is a complete masterpiece! A legendary epic metal classic. And now for some Sabbath-style occult rock: 0 Share this post Link to post
