There is a Kickstarter to create The Magical Realms of Tír na nÓg: Escape from Necron 7 - Revenge of Cuchulainn: The Official Game of the Movie - Chapter 2 of the Hoopz Barkley SaGa.

I figured there might be people here who like oldschool-like games and this one looks hilarious.

Also, Chex Quest reference. (It is not an RPG.)

The in-joke would be that a bunch of Internet friends got drunk and made a JRPG-like game once which referenced both Barkley Shut Up and Jam! and Space Jam and made it even sillier.

Since then they've become an actual indie game studio and want to make a sequel.

They are still full of in-jokes of course, like the bizarre lingo they use or their insistence on misusing apostrophes.
