Earlier today I finally got around to sorting out my CDs, and while I was doing it, I decided to make a list of what they all are. After I finished, I decided to post it up here, to get peoples comments, opinions and even suggestions of other albums to buy.

As you'll see, I'm a fan of a huge range of genres. The only stuff I really dislike or hate is classical, jazz, 70's/80's/early 90's metal, r'n'b, pop, and garage. Of course, there are a few exceptions in those genres that I do like.

Before you reply, bear in mind that I and most other people on these forums have had discussions of how bad Emimem/Nine Inch Nails/Nu Metal is many, many times before, so try to be a bit more original ;)

MDFMK - MDFMK

o_O
What's this? MDFMK, yet no KMFDM? Get KMFDM - Symbols for your own damn good. And while you're at it, pick up Schweinstein by SCHWEIN.

Nine Inch Nails - Fixed
Nine Inch Nails - Further Down the Spiral
Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine
Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral
Nine Inch Nails - The Fragile
Nine Inch Nails - Things Falling Apart

Is that all? Pfeh. You can start to match my collection by getting Broken, which many people say is better than either TDS or The Fragile. Also, if you like The Perfect Drug, get the remix album. Its probably the best single NIN has made.

Nirvana - Bleach
Nirvana - In Utero

Unplugged. Get it. It's their best album ever.

System of a Down - Toxicity

Dude. Get the first album. Seriously. Much better.

Compilations:

Dude, you have waaay to many compilations. Heh.

Lost highway

Best. Soundtrack. Ever.

Dan:

MDFMK, yet no KMFDM?

I've got most of the KMFDM songs as MP3's.

Unplugged. Get it. It's their best album ever.

My brother's got Unplugged, so there's no point in me getting it too ;)

Is that all? Pfeh. You can start to match my collection by getting Broken

What do you mean all? Broken is the only album I don't have, and the reason for that is because I don't like it. If you're talking about singles, I've pretty much got them all; I even managed to track down Head Like a Hole a few months ago.

Dude. Get the first album. Seriously. Much better.

I couldn't find it anywhere, so I got all the MP3's instead.

My record collection is indeed puny (especially in what concerns Nine Inch Nails, seeing I'm such a nut about that), but here goes. I'll put my singles in here too, it's relevant. Since this is coming from the top of my head, it's probably incomplete. Let's start by the easiest part...

Aphex Twin - Analogue Bubblebath 3

At The Drive-In - Relationship Of Command

Autechre - Chiastic Slide
Autechre - Confield

Faithless - Reverence (borrowed it, never saw it again)
Faithless - Sunday 8PM
Faithless - Take The Long Way Home

Fatboy Slim - You've Come A Long Way, Baby

Jamiroquai - Traveling Without Moving

Korn - Issues

Leftfield - Leftism
Leftfield - Rhythm and Stealth

Massive Attack - Mezzanine
Massive Attack - Protection

Maxim - Carmen Queasy
Maxim - My Web EP

Moby - Play/Play The B-Sides

MTV AMP2 Compo (general big beat and drum'n'bass, says "you are going to love this compact disc" in the small print - how accurate)

Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine
Nine Inch Nails - The Fragile

Pink Floyd - Echoes

Skunk Anansie - Post Orgasmic Chill

Smashing Pumpkins - Adore
Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and The Infinite Sadness

Spacetime Continuum - Emit Ecaps
Spacetime Continuum - Sea Biscuit

Static-X - Machine
Static-X - Wisconsin Death Trip

System Of A Down - System Of A Down
System Of A Down - Toxicity

The Matrix Soundtrack

The Orb - U.F.Off - The Best of The Orb

The Prodigy - Poison
The Prodigy - Poisoned Acid Dancers (bootleg!)
The Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up
The Prodigy - The Fat of the Land
The Prodigy - Voodoo People
The Prodigy - What Evil Lurks (bonus CD that came with my "Music for the Voodoo People" book from the original vinyl record - shitty quality)

Tom Waits - Blue Valentine

U2 - Boy
U2 - Pop

Underworld - Beaucoup Fish
Underworld - Push Upstairs 1/2
Underworld - Second Toughest In The Infants

Wagon Christ - Tally Ho!

Slipknot - Iowa

but ya I have quite a bit of mp3s too... but I think that they have actually increased my purchasing of cds
