spank Posted July 26, 2002 And I'm all "WTF" since no one (said yet to have) had a Sinclair computer. My first computer was the Spectrum 48k, with all the graphical bugs. Then we got a Spectrum Plus on a trip to Spain (the only place where those were sold, I think), which basically fixed those bugs and had 64k of RAM. After the Plus my uncle bought a +2A, IMO the best Spectrum ever. We never bought hardware addons, except for this expansion cartridge for the 48k that added two joystick ports and onboard sound. Spectrums were cheap, but never were anything special. The C64/C128s always had better capabilities. STs and Amigas also provided more bang for the buck. 0 Share this post Link to post
sgtcrispy Posted August 25, 2002 Ah the family Apple IIe. The first computer game I ever played was Hard Hat Mack. Ah Zaxxon, The Missing Ring, Conan, Bruce Lee, and umpteen "cracked" games from my brother friend. Ah thems were the days. 0 Share this post Link to post
Ichor Posted August 25, 2002 Speaking of old relics... From what page did you dig this one up? 0 Share this post Link to post
elbryan42 Posted August 25, 2002 Mine was a 286 with 1 meg of ram, and 40 megs of hard space. Man, that thing could run anything. :P But toward it's end, it was annoying that I had to delete all of my games just to fit King's Quest 6 on the hard drive. 0 Share this post Link to post
