Anyway I always thought it would be funny if they splattered all over the floor after they got killed out of the sky. so that was my inspiration for that. of course on impact their eyeball should also pop out of their socket.
I'm glad it makes you feel sad Ninjalah. I always thought the pinky demon would probably fall face flat (like Peter Griffin when he passes out) due to the tremendous weight of his head.

I love the dead Pinky--you can't help but feel sorry for the bugger. The Mancubus one is nice too, but I much prefer the results of the in-game death animation (I still think theirs is the best out of all the DOOM monsters) to your interpretation.
The Original pixelated monsters are untouchable. theres a certain innocence to them, much like the original King Kong stop motion model with choppy animations.
