well, stupid reason. :)
I tried to set up my own bot, and got banned with the message: clone bot not allowed. It is serious shit, I miss to talk with all you. :)
Did you try another freenode server (in case the ban is not on the whole network).
The ban is probably not permanent. Also, maybe it might help to mail them and explain/apology.
I think the ban is on the whole freenode/openprojects network.
I think the bot is running in the background or something.
Because i got a email from rob, that i was unbanned, I tried to connec to freenode. And i got a one more k-lined/banned message. I think i will try to format my hd in the weekend. I hope i can connect again soon. :)
Hmm, pretty weird. What bot did you try to use? I can't imagine that they k-line you as soon as you have 1 single clone on the network. At least they did not ban me when I played around with a bot :P
I think they just hate me... :P
I hope i will be back soon. but well, while i am away, maybe i can finish map12 for freedoom... i need to be quick, so i can grab e1m6... :P
