Since the thing free doom seem to be short on at the moment is sounds, I've posted some links to some sound effects libraries. You can use them as long as you don't do something silly like try to sell freedoom.

I would advise you'd E-mail the webmasters and ask if they want to be credited before you use them.

If you can't find what you are looking for on those sites, try this sound search engine.

If its for non commercial use only we cant use it. This is covered in the freedoom submissions guidelines.

Shit. you right. though you might be able to use "All free sound effects" if you E-mail the webmaster...

SimSynth 1.3 is a neat freeware program that lets you play with oscillators, filters, effects, and stuff, to actually generate sounds. It's what I used to make DSBOSCUB.

On a somewhat related note, the two sounds I submitted earlier were from a Winchester 1100 12-gauge shotgun.
