Actually some Free Software projects (such as AbiWord) actually have paypal 'tip jars' where you can donate money to the project. I suppose we could conceivably do something similar with freedoom, and give people small cash prizes for really good work.

Quite nice, steve. It appears that Fred has some Competition. And we all know he's too lazy to finish any of his freedoom sprites. Maybe steve could finish the lost soul. Heh.

The saw pickup is nice, but I imagined it as something the player slips onto his arm, for stability and such. That saw looks like It couldn't be used one-handed.

You do slip it on, through a ring in the back, and holding the handle there. That's how I drew it. :)

I Imagined something that takes up the whole forearm, with the blade just in front of the handle, for better control when chopping things.
