I think this should work fine along with that other Demon replacement. If you could manage to move Freedoom's monsters into a generally worm-like theme it'd start looking good overall.

Looks lovable, very nicely done. Once finished would also be cool to see a resized, little recoloured version replacing the, not very nice looking, arachnotron currently in Freedoom.

Might make a good plush pet to pass around DW/IRC.

Velveta: Some foetal/pupal qualities and coloration, like weaker looking skin or non-metallic armor scales would be good rather than just resizing.
