I agree. But I think to show off the gameplay they should be more action packed, like the demos that come with Doom. Showing off Dooms strengths like frantic fights and masses of monsters, as you don't see in recent games anymore.
Those walk through videos might have a spot, too, but they are rather boring to look at.
