We can't really escape using green though, which will always make whatever sprite we use (humanoid, warrior..) look similar.

Nice job darkening the sprites.

If Saint of Killers has one fault it must be that he makes his spritesa bit too bright.

But I do love his work and look forward to his rendition of the demon.


Can you improve on existing patches too? I think that one of the tekwall patches (wall24_1) is a little to similar to another (w17_1).


I think you should have leaved the cannons on the mancubus' back light grey though.

Not that long, actually. I've done 8 of the player sprites now.

Hey fred, hows the retouch going? If you could just finish the player that would be fantastic. The mancubus isn't so much of a priority I guess, just some of the doom1 ones: sargeant, zombie, imp... actually scratch the imp, tbh I think we'll find a replacement for that one anyway.

I like the work done the mancubus replacement. It looks worlds better. As does the player sprite.
