Your port description should be expanded to clarify why some ports, like omadex are below ones like doom95.

Doom 95 is really not very good at all. It only supports 640x480 for high res, the mouse won't work in anything newer than Win95, it has all of vanilla's limitations, it cannot netplay if the connection crosses a router, and it has a lot of weird bugs like spectre fuzz looking like technicolor puke.

Chocolate Doom is a far superior port if you want 100% Vanilla compatibility under modern operating systems. Hell, for that matter, playing the vanilla EXE under DosBox is better than Doom 95 IMO.

Also you left off Eternity, but that's alright since you probably wouldn't like it anyway :P

This is why I put Doom95 above some others: It comes with the 4 Doom wads, I know a lot of ppl at school who got D95 so they can play on ZDaemon (plus I did that myself, even though I already owned Doom or was it Doom Shareware, I can't remember, it's a floppy disk). Plus it's legal, cuss it's by id Software.

I edited this post to set an example for double posters (and to answer Quasar's second question).

I only did the ones that I have on my computer at the moment (and that work). A bunch of them like Doomworld, U-Hexen, Hexetic, and others, don't even work...........

You know, I appreciate the effort you're going to, xgmx. I really do. But this thread shows gross, oversimplistic misunderstanding of the source ports in question and your other threads show terrible misunderstanding of the community in general.

In other words, lurk moar.
