Which Doomguy will win a battle?

The oldschool or the new one?

I mean, the oldschool doomguy had packs with cool stuff, but the new one got the "Soul Cube".

What you guys think?

Not really...the Doomguy of DOOM 3 is a remade version of the old Doomguy.

Is the old pinky the same than the new one? I don't think so.
They may represent the same person, but they aren't the same.

It's like the James Bond character. Lot of actors have impersonated him.
But they're not the same.

The classic Doom Guy wore gloves and a helmet. The Doom³ variant had none.

Also note that the protagonist in Resurrection of Evil (I never played that game) is a different marine and is more of an anti-hero unlike Doom³'s Doom Guy.

Thanks for the advise, but I'm a proud Roman Catholic so I'll reject the invitation.

By now, DOOM's my favorite videogame.

It's just too...amazing...I can't even describe him.

This community is pretty awesome.
It's clear of racist and supremacists (in other forums commenting about a censored thing will get you banned)

I'm reading the Doom wikia everyday. Is just too amazing.

I'm hoping to be a real DOOM-Head in a couple of weeks...months maybe...but the wait will bring a lot of rewards.

I'm sure of it.

For what it's worth, the Doom Wikia is deprecated in favor of DoomWiki.org, a fork away from Wikia in which all of the administrators and intelligent editors moved to. (There are reasons the Wikia was not shutdown or linked to the new one; I don't remember what the reasons were.)

That sounds pretty agressive, but DOOM is for macho men and for guys with huge guts so I agree with you.

I'm not afraid of getting araoused by haters, by the way I don't like CoD games, but I love the Battlefield's.

I use to love Halo, but it's garbage compared to Doom, altough, it's not a bad game.

I also love MK games and Gears of War saga games.

Me too. The trick is picking the right religion. Would you rather be loyal to some white-clad old man somewhere in Rome, or to AN ASS-KICKING MARINE FROM THE FUTURE THAT DEFEATS DEMONS AND THE DEVIL WITH HIS OWN HANDS AND COOL WEAPONS AND RESURRECTS AGAIN AND AGAIN (plus, he makes for an awesome video game). I don't have a problem with that, as long as we respect each other beliefs.

By the way, i would prefer to be a Catholic guy who plays DOOM in his iMac, knowing that, altough that isn't real, is too bad-ass.

Is another way of freedom if you ask me.

The old doomguy took on hordes of monsters on Phobos, Deimos, Hell, and Earth. He destroyed cyberdemons, spiderdemons, and the Icon of Sin. He can take on anything, because he is after revenge for what they did to his pet rabbit.

The Doom 3 guy doens't have a pet rabbit. He stands no chance.

In my country, a masonic antichristian state, there's no religion info on our id card. Nice to see that you're an Orthodox (Greek or Russian?)

Now I remember why did you put "No, he's Orthodox, that's why he's fighting Catholic hell" on the deleted thread.

But he can crawl behind coffee tables and punch coke cans into oblivion, and I think that's awesome. He can also jam doors or mahcinery with boxes and barrels, and screw with the designer's "plans" ;-)

Actually, I like the fact that the new Doomguy seems to have a more serious background than the older one.

The rabbit just made doomguy look too much gay...

That's pretty much a Greek peculiarity, and I think that ever our newly-issued ID cards don't state it anymore. However it is still required stating it in some public documents. Last time I did that was in an Reserve Officer recruitment form.
