So, if businesses and corporations are considered to be people, doesn't buying and owning another company constitute slave labor? :P

What I mean is that the company itself, being a person, is a slave, because if a person is owned by another person, that makes them a slave. The individual employees in such businesses are not slaves, as they are free to go. I guess depending on the contract the companies are free to leave by their own will, and they also voluntarily can be bought, and don't have to be bought if they don't want to, that doesn't necessarily make them slaves either.

But, given just the terminology of the word "ownership" being used, doesn't that in and of itself make it slavery, or at least open slavery, even if it isn't really slavery at all in function?

It should but it doesn't.

If corporation are people, can't they be punished to the same extent as a regular citizen? No, becasue it's an intangible entity that encompasses the rights of humans, but not punishable by the same standards.

I wouldn't exactly describe him as being on my shitlist. He's only done one thing on this forum that made me annoyed, and since his losering, he's back at the level he was before, which is amusing. Thus, I open and read most of his threads.
