Creaphis Posted March 7, 2012 It's cool to see a project like this. Your style is a bit wobbly, though, from playing in slow motion even when it's not necessary, and there's lots of time that could be saved. I can only blame myself for not finish my "segmented speedrun" (no SR50 automation, no slowmo, only re-recording at intermission screens). MAP01: 1 second is impossible. MAP02: 16 seconds should be comfortably possible in a built demo. You can probably save a few tics right at the start by killing a barrel with two pistol shots. MAP04: There's lots more time you could save here by manipulating monsters to run out of your way rather than running the long way around them. My run also gets 37 seconds on this map. MAP06: One second slower than my run, and I grab more ammo, which would save you time killing Keens on MAP08 I'll stop there as my run stops there too. 0 Share this post Link to post
ClumsyDoomer Posted March 7, 2012 Yes, I watched your speedrun. Btw, thanks for the route. I tried to make 16 using demo building toolz. Killed barrels with 2 shots. 17'14!
