Never finished The Plutonia Experiment or Doom 64, most notably. I've beaten The Ultimate Doom, Doom II and TNT: Evilution, but not those two (although I've jumped around various maps of both, and made some progress with the latter).

Never played Doom 3, either.

This. I have no idea why people think this is possible. You could only possibly gib something with a starting health of less than 15 with a stock hitscan weapon in Doom, and even then you'd ideally want it to be >10 to have a decent chance of doing it frequently.


I must be the Doom equivalent of an adventurous slut then, because I've done all of the things people have said here aside from the aforementioned impossible one, playing Doom 64 and finishing the entirety of any Doom engine game on Nightmare! (I've done all of E1, with a lot of save/loads in ZDoom, but that is it)

Admittedly the cyberdemon one was an opportunist sprint-up-and-berserk-punch manoeuvre when I knew it was on very low health thanks to the linetarget console command in ZDoom.

I have never played, owned or wanted to play the Master Levels though.

Never tried Nightmare, got a time of sucks, not recorded a speed demo in a source port (I have recorded videos using bandicam but not built in source port demo compatibility). Never played the Master Levels or gibbed a zombieman with an SSG (I don't think I have).

It's possible with PSX Doom. (The one with the Aubrey Hodges soundtrack and the pretty colored lights. Not the PS3 versions which are straight port from the PC version through Nerve's Xbox port.)

I think I first managed to do that in Map19 of Fragport. The trick is getting them close together before hostilities break out so the spider misses its target less often.

Funnily enough, I was trying a few of the master levels at just gone 12AM today
I can't even see the cybie's eyes half the time. Way too obscure for my liking.

Ive never really played Doom 64, outside of a store when it was brand new, on a controller I had never used or seen before. Didnt know how to even shoot...stupid trigger UNDERNEATH the controller..

Never finished any well-known megawad, to my immediate knowledge.

Never finished all the Master Levels, due to the "hard to get" factor (There 75% off on Steam today btw! NOW I WILL HAVE THEM ALL ON PC)

Outside of that, ive pretty much done most things in Doom that arent obscure or masochistic. All IWADS done on UV, etc etc. Just need to add Doom 64 and the other Doom engine games to the list

heh, first time i got "time sucks" was during my first playthrough of evilution, map 20 or 21, you know those huge ones. i didn't know about this message before.

i've played most known wads, however i mostly play megawads with save at the beginning of a map, while playing from pistol start can be very different.

i've dabbled a bit in mapping and recorded some dm / sp games, but never uploaded anything since the results were modest.
