3d game with a suspiciously familiar gun sprite.

This is an old and obscure shooter game, but look at the gun sprite. It looks exactly like the Doom pistol. This looks like a fun game though, I would like to have a go at this. Everyone was getting in on the FPS fad even in the old days of gaming.

It's close but not close enough to call it a direct sprite rip or anything. Given the design of the HUD, the game is clearly inspired by Doom and/or Wolf3D in some regard.

I have this game on a shovelware CD.

Fun game. Somewhere between a Wolf and Doom clone.

Jesus, I remember playing a black and white demo of this game. I think it was the first FPS I played before Doom.

This, except pretty sure I played Wolf3d before any others.

I remember that game, its called Bad Toys 3D, and yeah is a strange doom clone (or Wolf3d clone), and IIRC the weapon in the pictures Zed linked its the stronger of the game, the plasma rifle.

I watched review of this game on youtube few years ago, interesting game indeed

I saw a Gamemaker game that was also, if I recall correctly, called Bad Toys. It had awful art.

That pistol looks damn close to the original, just more low res.

Looks like some sorta Doom mod.

The first thought that occurs to me when looking at that game is not "Wow! That's the gun from Doom!"

It's "What the hell is this crap? My eyes! My eyes! Help!"
