DOOM rap?

Recommended Posts

Might anyone know if someone has ever made a DOOM inspired comedic rap video. Think Team Headkick or anyone else on machinima who does video game raps. I looked and considering DOOM's popularity I was surprised that there were none. Do any of you know if any are in the works? It would most likely have a metal sounding beat.

Uh ok lets try this.

"I like DOOM 2 and I cannot lie, except for the Mancubi, and when i'm in a small room with a little bit of room and revenant too, I get pissed! But I know I will succeed if I type IDDQD"

Ya I just made it up as I went along.

Yo yo check dis out
Doom's da shit I'm talking about
It's gonna pimp yo neighborhood
Rappin' rockin' all da way ta Hollywood

In Hell, On Earth, Deimos and Mars
Our Hero is there when the shit hits the fan
He dresses in Green -hey I think that's cool-
he can run more fast than this brotha can rap

He's packin, he's packing the Bee Eff Gee,
he frags your ass with the Ess-Ess-Gee
He now cooks with plasms, that's no child's play
he says "Wot da problem?" to the Baron he slay

Got a serious problem, got a bad attitude,
as the Berserker pack gives him new fortitude
he rips and tears some poor imp's spine,
yo better watch out coz yo ass ain't thine

With chainsaws, zombies, shotguns and imps
it will make your head mad as your tear and rip

He launches the rocket, big like his tool
he shoots far and wide, whoah there it goes boom

With demons and spectres he plays chess
he revs up his chainsaw and makes a mess
He rocks with the Revvie as from Archie he hides
but in the end it's Romero that his bitch he makes

(Yo Yo)

etc. etc.

Intended to have an oldschool Sugarhill Gang sound, coz I'm oldskool like dat, yo.

that rapping stuff is pretty hilarious, maes...

Also, the only comedic rap video based upon Doom is "BOOM! HEADSHOT!" on youtube... and other comedic doom rap song i know it's reperible on overlooked remix site

What would be mildly interesting is if someone made a mixtape of Doom music, and did a Doom rap using that for the beats

I think Maes wins the thread. No competition.

Well, now you better publish that and watch it storm to the iTunes Top 1 Single spot.

Do any of ya'll niggas actually listen to rap? These examples are very ... early 80s.

Back when it was respectable, yet tortured by Shaq movies.

I just broke out some phat rhymes tell me what you think.

"Worst Thing for Hell"

You might see me strollin' liftin' bodies and rollin'
I may be creeping through the empty corridors patrollin'
But if I feel like runnin' bitch you better not blink
And if you think you gonna hear me well you better rethink

'Cause when I'm runnin' through yo' base ain't got no time for words
Just bust in through yo' door and flush you down like you was turds

I'm the D-O-O-M-G-U-Y
And I'm the worst thing for hell since yo' mama died

Revvin' up my chainsaw
Cut you like you ain't saw
Carryin' dat shit around
Silent like a ninja!

You like your new asshole?
I certainly do.
I got a giant ass dick and it's pointed at you.

I call my bedroom the Unholy Cathedral
Bring the imps there then we get all medieval

'Cause I'm the D-O-O-M-G-U-Y
And I crawled back to Hell just to have a good time.

Runnin' outta ammo man it ain't no thang
Find the black box stick it in the main vein
This one-man-army ain't lookin' for laughs
I'm a berserker-packin' motherfuckin' man-and-a-half!

My head is filled with a perfect kind of hatred
If you think that's sick just come and see what I wasted
Ain't got room in my armor for a merciful heart
I'm the Bringer of DOOM and I kill the part!

It's 1994 all over again up in dis bit.

We need something modern in here, get a 6 second sample from one of the Doom MIDIs, crank up the bass and then spout shit loosely related to Doom and you've got billions headed your way. That 80's / 90's rap stuff takes far too much talent and effort for the new wave to appreciate it.

My objection wasn't so much that the raps presented here seemed old school, more that they seemed naive, like someone who has heard approximately one example of rap music and defined the entire genre from said example. They're not even bad raps, they just don't really resemble the rhythm and flow of the genre.

Whatcha mean? I turned on my TV today (BTW it's a 28" Sony CRT from the late 80s) and it had two brothas carryin' a ghettoblaster and rhymin to LL Cool J and Da Sugahill gang, yo! I mean, if it's on Tee Vee, dat shit must be da bomb, dawg. I betcha if I copy these guys' attitudes, da chicks will be all over me over how cool I am, and shit.
