DWS overview of a VERY cool Doom 3 TC

If you HAVEN'T played this tc for ROE, then I highly recommend it. It's called Fragging Free and has some seriously nice design and gameplay. The file is good sized - 680 mb, but well worth the download!

so - on to the good stuff. new weapons - yay!!!! - actually really well done. quite impressive! i suggest you go through the training module to get a feel for them. it will help you in the game - i promise! there were a slew of them and many of them had multiple attack modes. i'm not going to give away any spoilers on the weapons, but suffice to say that as you get used to them, you will be thankful that they were designed the way they were

Not related, but I gather that the 4 digit decimal in the Doomdates is supposed to be days elapsed since Doom was released, in which case, according to this you're 6 off.

That's a cool website. I basically did the numbers in my bead so only being 6 days off isn't bad. I'll have to update it though. :-)

Hey, if you have any more, or if you would actually like to do any reviews yourself, let me know what they are. I'd really like to beef up the Doom 3 section of the site.

I'll keep in touch with this thread in case I find any more Doom 3 material for you. I might even review some for your website if you're okay with that.

And just for archival purposes, I have this Doom 3 weapons mod I made back in 2011 that gathered quite a bit of publicity (1400+ downloads.) I don't know if you keep these kind of things on Doom Wad Station but it would be kind of neat to see there. Completely up to you.
