I actually listened to this whole album before suffering through the movie in question.
I really like the scope of the picture and how detailed the landscape is. Couple that with the group of followers being subservient to their "god" and you get an album cover that's menacing, broad and just a piece of art overall.

Gotta love those evil grin covers, always creepy! Shame SYRO never got one but eh!


Yellow Magic Orchestra: Solid State Survivor
YMO always have interesting covers, but this one is one of my favs- just an unusual scene and the yellow stands out too.


Joseph Nothing: Dreamland Idle Orchestra
Just...weird! Many of the album covers for Joseph nothing are collages of strange faces, flowers and other things all arranged into some kind of bizarre scene.

In all honesty, I have far too many favourite albums, cover art included. I am also glad to see that I am not the only fan of Artillery (I have a box set of their first four albums) unfortunately, it's hard to grab original pressings.

Wow, someone actually posted a Revenge cover! Those guys are really fucking extreme, love their chaotic music.

Anyway, this has always been one of my favorite covers, I remember seeing it as a young teen and it was traumatizing enough to have a direct, exceedingly negative impact on my psyche for more some 15 years. The artwork is absolutely beautiful and I love how absurd it is.

Not my favorite (too hard for me to determine). But this is definitely one of the most disturbing.
