Flashback need maps for episode4.

Me and espi is working on a new megawad for ultimate doom there is named flashback (No screenshots or anything up yet, still working on the page, and the adress is temp atm. It will get moved to doom2.net/~fb some time soon). It is retelling of ultimate doom's story. The project is for doom.exe v1.9.

And we could need some help with maps for episode4 (which is still nameless, but it will be taken from the bible as the original title on episode4). Before anyone start using that newproject tag on me, I will link to some screenshots of E4M1 by Erik alm (I am sure you know who it is.

So anyone wanna make a map for it?. If you sign up for do a map, I'd like to see if you could stick to the original's style, but mostly it is up to yourself. There will not be any new music or textures for it, please stick to original doom's textures. E4m1 (of couse), e4m3 (mine :P), e4m8 , e4m9 (however if you can make a really cool map in the same style as original e4m9/ dodead.wad e4m9, I will sign you for this) is not for sign up, but E4m2, e4m4 (however I dunno about this slot, cause I think I have a map of erik's there could be e4m4), e4m5, e4m6, e4m7.

edit: It don't have to stick to the detail level of original ultimate doom. Our own maps is quite detailed, except episode1's, it is stick to original phobos detailing level and style).

Heh I wouldn't mind to do a map for you Torn, I know I'm capable of it, it's just that for some reason I can't do gothic maps. :\

Yeah, all the maps will use the same texture theme as the original map (like our e2m4 use metal1 (not as much as original e2m4 tho)), stone2 and compblue textures, but it feels a bit more cramped than original e2m4). However they will get more detailed and more/better architecture, however the main idea of the map will be keep.

What maps are you looking for?

Episode4 styled maps atm (marble/wood theme). I'd like to see if you could try put something in your map, there give "flashback" (:P) of the episode4 map slot you are doing the map for. As I said, e4m4, e4m5, e4m6 and e4m7 is free. I dunno which one of these original maps you like most.

Well, If there is any map slots left then, you can do a map. There is really no deadline. We are gonna release a demo/alpha/whatever 10dec, a full episode or 4-5maps.

Well, if you could pick another slot, it would be fine. I think erik's episode1 map could be a fine e4m4, when it is retextured.
But please finish enigma before, I'd like to see the finished wad. :)

Well, if you would search for a few more names from the bible, it would be great. I still need a good episode name for episode4, all these I found don't fit or isn't cool like the original one.

Why did't paul and the rest of the 2002ado team just send their maps to freeedoom?

If it is cause they are gonna look like the original, then it is still no, but I have talked with fraggle about get some maps from it, still dunno tho.

Is this the project I said I'd do E4M5 for? Cause I'm still working on that even though I haven't been around much recently.

It would be much easier if you could make a list of what maps are taken and who is doing them... Something like:

E1M1 - Mike Hunt
E1M2 -
E1M3 -
E1M4 - Amanda Huginkis
E1M5 - Gerald Fitzpatrick

Uhm, I only need maps for episode4, we are doing the rest of the episodes. But I can see what you mean
