hey, i'm not sure who else to ask, so I'll ask you since you were the one that brought it up... the splash2.wad on pacifist net was corrupted or something, because I couldn't open it with wintex, or any map editor... either way.. is there any where else I can locate this file, because I really want to be able to do this with my map... thanks man.. later.

Hey, I loaded this wad up in wadauthor and it said "another game configuration needed" or something like that... it normally starts in zdoom config.. i thought this was a zdoom map?? no...? is it just a standard doom map? it did load up in wintex, but I didn't really have time to look around before work...

This WAD does not include any maps. Just load it with ZDoom to have the splash effects everywhere.

Oh.. so, should I put this in the skins directory or something like that? so that it will run with my wad?

Yes, if you want the splash effects every time you play ZDoom you can place it in the skins directory. You can also add it to your -file command line.
