attack of the once again deep question

how do u add sounds to ur wad in deep.....cuz when i tryed dmaud it fucked the sounds up and they were totally not what i had put in there. i tried using deep....and the um...sounds got put in but they didnt play...do i hafto convert the wav to snd?

The F7 Import tool imports anything, but you have to know a few things.

First, is this for stock DOOM or a Port?

If stock DOOM change the default conversion options (the Auto Options button) so WAV is converted to SND. Ditto for MUS vs MIDI. The defaults leave WAV and MIDI as is, since most of the new ports can play the native formats now.

You probably knew this, but for anybody else, the sound lump name has to be the same name as the sound you are replacing, unless once again, you are using a port that let's you change the name to anything.
