MajorRawne Posted May 22, 2010 Is there a way to edit the instruments and tempo used in midi files, cos I've found a couple of love songs that will sound really ironic if I speed them up and make them creepy as opposed to jolly! Thanks in advance chaps :) 0 Share this post Link to post
Reisal Posted May 22, 2010 What I used to fiddle around with the original MIDIs was MidiYote, it is a java based program but you might also want to see if you can find something else if it doesn't fit your prerequisites. 0 Share this post Link to post

MajorRawne Posted May 23, 2010 I have made some decent rearrangements of some good songs but whenever I save them and play them in media player or VLC they just sound normal. How can I get the midi files to play with the amended instruments? This is with MidiYodi by the way. According to the website it should work just by saving the midi. 0 Share this post Link to post
Reisal Posted May 24, 2010 It should work when you load them via Wintex or XWE into the appropiate D_####### song within the custom WAD you are using. 0 Share this post Link to post
