pug826 Posted May 25, 2010 made this in 2 days. took overall 10 or so hours, probably more. all wood, hand cut and painted, tons of pieces! this is my best video game prop yet! here is a video of the progress! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D57xlvkhkrk 0 Share this post Link to post

Shapeless Posted June 1, 2010 Great job scratch building the Doom guy pistol. the only thing I'm not too fond of is the paint job, and the wooden handle of the gun should have had a wooden stain and varnished finish. it looks like it's been through hell. LOL 0 Share this post Link to post
pug826 Posted June 2, 2010 lol thanks! yeah my paint jobs are always like this: worn out metal and wood lol. i need to paint something different. 0 Share this post Link to post
MmM Posted June 4, 2010 Very cool. Great detail/form. How heavy is it? Are you planning on doing any cosplay with it? I agree with Shapeless about the paint job, but, if I was painting it, it'd probably come out looking much the same, so I shouldn't complain. :P 0 Share this post Link to post

pug826 Posted June 4, 2010 thanks guys! i do intend to use it in an upcoming movie of mine. this and all my other video game weapon replicas. it is really light actually, little over a pound i think. it is all solid wood, but light wood, and still extremely sturdy 0 Share this post Link to post
