Classic Doom 3 won't work

I just got Doom 3 to work on my new computer but for some reason the classic Doom 3 mod won't work. Whenever I try to play it I get this error log. Can somebody tell me what I can do to make it work?

Dumb it down for me, because I'm ignorant on modding Doom 3.

I'm not sure either, but judging from the last line of that log, you might be running the wrong version of the mod with the wrong version of Doom 3.

I think I had similar trouble with running the Classic Doom mod; I know that I needed to use an updated version that works on version 1.3.1 of Doom 3. You might want to try googling [wrong game DLL API version doom 3] or similar.

[edit: Perhaps this page can help you, as there's a section near the bottom that includes that line from your log, and an explanation of why it happens. Judging by that, I'd say it supports my theory that you are using an outdated version of cdoom.]
