First, a question. Whats the most impressive outdoor/nature area you have seen in any map?
I ask this because I can't think of any and searching didn't go so well (I didn't search much though). I'm leaning more towards ZDoom maps with slopes and all.

Roger Ritenour's Earth and Pleiades both feature some spectacular outdoor visuals. Huge natural canyons, rolling surf, and all sorts of other amazing looking stuff.

Grove is a classic but it has no slopes and runs kind of slow. Nevertheless, the trees and sky give it excellent atmosphere.

Any chance of getting some screenies of these wads in this thread? My connection is too frustrating to DL them without knowing more or less what I'm in for :(

TIA

I guess there aren't too many levels with an all outdoor nature/theme. I've seen all the ones mentioned, but thanks.

I'll just have to continue making my own levels to see what I want to see in outdoor levels. And wait for Foreverhood which has some nice looking nature in it.

Super Sonic Doom map01 has an outdoor nature type theme, and like two or more others. I forget.
