Kid Airbag Posted January 3, 2004 So, what the fuck does "The ZDOOM.EXE file is linked to missing export FMOD.DLL:_FSOUND_Update@0" mean? I have fmod.dll in the same folder as ZDoom.exe, it's always been there, unchanged and unmodified, and ZDoom has always worked. Until now. What the hell is going on? 0 Share this post Link to post
sirjuddington Posted January 3, 2004 Obviously it's a different version of fmod.dll than ZDoom supports. It annoys me that different ports use FMOD, as they never seem to use the same version (like Legacy and ZDoom, although I know which one I use more :P) 0 Share this post Link to post
Cyb Posted January 3, 2004 I have all my ports in their own subfolders for the specific reason of avoiding these types of conflicts. to fix that you'll have to unzip (uncab?) the version of fmod.dll that comes with zdoom. that'll fix the problem, though anything that uses that older version of fmod will probably have issues (unless fmod is backwards compat) 0 Share this post Link to post
