cant get doom 64 to work

i downloaded doomsday and doom 64, and ive put doomsday in its own folder when i installed it, but doom 64 doesnt work, but jdoom works fine, when i start up doom 64 is says there was a problem with doomsday.exe does anyone know what might be the problem. thanx

the TC comes with its own executable, you don't need doomsday to run it.

it also comes with a kickstart profile so you can choose it in kickstart

you don't need kickstart either (the cfg for kickstart is usless).

Simply double click the absolution.exe to launch the game. Simple as that.

is there somewhere i can download the absolution.exe file or do i need to download everything over again, which would suck cuz i got dial up only.

absolution.exe came with the installation. But if you didn't get it, then its more than likey that you have an extremely old version. Which you will have to re-download again.
