ok so ive got doomsday and i can play doom 2 wads fine but for some reason i cant playy doom 1 wads?does anybody know why this is happening?

yeah but whenever i try to play anything with the first doom wad in it ,it dosnt work

Have you set the Doom.wad's path in the Doomsday Frontend?

Need more info:
* Size of doom.wad
* MD5 checksum of doom.wad (Windows: http://downloads.activestate.com/co...md5sum/Windows/)
* "Last modified" date of doom.wad (sometimes tells nothing, but post it anyway)
* PWADs attempting to be played
