P.S.: what's with all these people having trouble with using/refusing to use CVS and resorting to the tarball? :-/
Apparently they agree with Linus Torvalds on merits of CVS.

Heh, is that it? Still, he doesn't have anything positive to say about SVN either, which is puzzling because many CVS-haters propose SVN instead. In any case, Eclipse + CVS rulez.

Heh, I hadn't read this post, but what I did was:

  1. Check out the CVS version
  2. Import the source into a git repo
  3. Create a new branch so I could hack & merge Maes's changes later

So even some of those who checked out the CVS version (including myself) agree with Linus on the merits of CVS :-)

Thanks Nicholai Main for new music engine without SDL_mixer and its crashes on multicore systems.

Does new music engine fix problems with midi on vista/7?

I don't have vista/7 to test on, but if you find any bugs I'll see what I can do to fix them.

In its current version, AFAIK yes. I don't know whether natt or entryway added the code to control midi volume.
