While messing around with my own linux port of Hexen, I realized that my savegames were not compatible with chocolate Hexen, so i modified my code (basically changing structure packing) and i managed to get a version which although still desyncs demos, is savegame compatible with choco hexen, but is that compatible with vanilla hexen?

EDIT: problem solved. Chocolate Hexen is not compatible with Vanilla Hexen savegames. player_t needs to be packed.
