Evidently DOOM Classic has been updated to version 2 and now features:

- Retina Support.
- iPad/iPad 2 Support.
- New Menus.

Unfortunately the source code links on http://www.idsoftware.com/doom-classic/ are broken else I'd check it out myself. Anyone got a working link?

The only source code I see is for version 1.0: ftp://ftp.idsoftware.com/idstuff/do...v1.0_source.zip

I wish they'd tweak the controls a bit. The only FPS I've found playable on the iPhone is COD Zombies. Any other FPS I feel like I'm fighting the controls more than the monster hordes...

I contacted Carmack and he said he has told the mobile team to get on a source release :)

Try this: Open the console with a five-finger tap, and type "tiltturn 4000" and press enter. This will enable tilt-to-turn.
