Sometimes when I'm using Prboom+ it'll suddenly crash because of "signal 11". What does this mean, and is there any way to avoid it?

Signal 11 is a segmentation fault, and by itself that doesn't really tell anybody much of anything.

What version of prboom+ are you running? What OS are you using?

Are you using a DEH file or a WAD that includes one? I get signal handle error 11(iirc) when I'm using a faulty DEH patch.
