Pencil of Doom Posted October 22, 2014 I recently came across that svn Gzdoom builds are not working, shutting down on my pc with this fatal error message. Here's what it said: Execution could not continue. Unable to load shader Default: Init Shader 'Default': Vertex shader: Vertex shader failed to compile with the following errors: ERROR: 0:2: '' : extension 'GL_ARB_uniform_buffer_object' is not supported ERROR: compilation errors. No code generated. Fragment shader: Fragment shader failed to compile with the following errors: ERROR: 0:2: '' : extension 'GL_ARB_uniform_buffer_object' is not supported ERROR: 0:66: 'layout' : syntax error parse error ERROR: compilation errors. No code generated. Linking: Vertex and Fragment shader(s) were not successfully compiled before glLinkProgram() was called. Link failed. If somebody can give me a workaround on this id be grateful. And if somebody else had or has this problem, then i would like to listen to your opinion. Also if this is a bug or something, Graf Zahl then could you fix it? It's because i prefer using this source port over the others and i wouldn't like to change it with a different source port. 0 Share this post Link to post
Graf Zahl Posted October 22, 2014 A bug report for this already exists. Right now I have no idea why the driver is complaining and this still needs some investigation. 0 Share this post Link to post

Graf Zahl Posted October 22, 2014 You can also use 1.8.7, which is the old renderer that doesn't have this issue but contains the same gameplay features. 0 Share this post Link to post

Graf Zahl Posted November 28, 2014 It says 'unexpected error' for shader linking. Well, it couldn't be more vague. What graphics hardware are you using? 0 Share this post Link to post
Yuki Senmatsu Posted December 3, 2014 Well bugger. Same here and disappointed :( Welp, will stick to 1.8.2. 0 Share this post Link to post

Guest Unregistered account Posted December 3, 2014 Oh yes, I've had this irritating glitch for a while. No PSX Doom TC! Imagine that! etc. etc. etc. 0 Share this post Link to post
