I had to make mention of this for any of you interested in perhaps making the next BIG sorce port for the Dreamcast game console.

bah doom was released under the GPL and thats the source grendal used anyway I belive, so if you emailed him he wouldive had to send you the source

When ZDoom has Hexen support, maybe somebody will make a port for the Dreamcast that lets you put all the wads onto a disc with the engine and play Doom, Doom II, Final Doom, Heretic, Hexen and Hexen : DK. That would fucking rule!

Are there any features in it to take advantage of the DC's hardware, or is this just an plain source port?

No. I talked to crt0 and he explained to me how they didn't use the GPL version of the source. Basically they wern't and aren't required to release anything.
