is there any possible way to take all the textures I've added to my level and get rid of them, returning the game to it's original "doom.wad" textures? please say there is.... and if so, please tell me how.. i'm desperate.

What method did you use to get rid of the textures? One way to get rid of them is to open up your wad in WinTex, DeePSea, or XWE, select your patches and texture name lump, and delete them. DeePSea and XWE work much better at deleting textures than WinTex does.
