It is a great map, no doubt, possibly the best ever single wad imo. It's a certain style of gameplay though, not necessarily to everybody's taste. I think also it loses a large audience because it's not completable with Legacy, which is a real shame imo. Any possibility of a patch or something Fred?

av & idunno were pretty much the only decent wads I can remember from the last year...

As far as 2003 goes... well there's crudreams (stop laughing) and I'll be releasing a couple other things... maybe dmdjm02?

Why on earth would you think that!? All I can recognize on your list that I have either contributed to or designed myself is '2002 ADO', 'CH Retro Episode' and 'Rip it, Tear it, Smash it!'.

Personally my top5 would look like this:

-Caverns of Darkness
-One Bloody Night
-Zort08
-Blinded by fear
-Dark7

Being on the subject and following up on the good success of last years '2001 GDR' list, I'll soon have my '2002 Great Doom Releases list finished and posted on my homepage.

And Opulent btw, I guess you already figured this out, however, you can put in a ;-) in the above post!

Actually, I loved scientist 1. It played so well and deserves a place among the top of 2002. It ESPECIALLY rocks when playing with the very newest EDGE version of immoral conduct(just released half a week ago). In one of the town-ish levels you get a friendly bot, and sweet weapons, and the level rocks, and it's insane fun capping imps with your fellow dual-pistol friendly marine ripping inot the zombiemen.

Thanks for the compliment Ebola, but as mentioned above somewhere, Null Space was released in December 2001, so it's not really eligable for this list (the same also applies to that level that fredrick keeps pimping).
