New Doom Death Mod -- *Link*

Recommended Posts

I've completed my "grafix wad" for the alternate death sequences of the Doom2 monsters. The purpose is to make the death animations more...satisfying. >:D E-mail me at mphil804@uwsp.edu for a copy of the sprite wad. When it is uploaded by Sargebaldy, I'll provide a link to download it at. Enjoy!

*EDIT* Here's the link where you can download it at (be sure to read the .txt file before playing!):

I have edited the wad finally and it is as good as it will ever get. :) Simply leave your e-mail address and you can have a pre-release try of the mod.

OK, Job. I got it from you on AIM yesterday, and I loaded it up with ZDoom. Nothing happened. It's like it didn't load the wad up or something. I checked to make sure that the filename was spelled correctly and stuff, and then tried again. No go. Odd...

I know, that was the old version. I've got it fixed now. I can send you the new file asap -- it has a .txt with some good instructions and a .bat that could be good too. :) Also, I updated the frames to be gorier, bloodier and more explosiony.

Sent. Well, I'm having sargebaldy update the file I uploaded to him, so to get the best, final version of the wad, you have to e-mail me, but soon you can just go to the link. :)

This is a good mod. Give it a try, please. I made it myself. :) If you want to see more satisfying demon deaths during the game, download this mod.

It still doesn't work on my zdoom.

I never did understand why it works on some computers and not on others. Could possibly be that maybe the actual wad file, in the properties section, needs the archive and read-only options unchecked if they are. Otherwise, if it doesn't work with the command prompt or the .bat maybe someone more knowledgeable than me can provide an answer.
