The Star Wars Themes folder of 3DArchives also contains many SW-related resources. ....but I don't have a program to suck em off the Dark Forces... I used CAGE to extract graphics from Dark Forces, and BMPDF to convert DF graphics into bitmap format. 0 Share this post Link to post
XDelusion Posted July 29, 2003 Ellmo: http://www.angelfire.com/theforce/doomlegacy/ I don't have any resource files for share yet, but will in the near future when I get back to work on it. If you want decent tools just goto df-21.net they have all the files you need for DF 2 DOOM conversion in there downloads section. And beware of XWE!!!! It messes up the colors on some people's home mage GOB files, so you'll need Conman instead. You should also check into a nice Pak Explorer so you can begin ripping textures from Jedi Knight 2 which is where I get all of mine. Until Legacy gets MD3, I stick to DF for my sprites (which need a little artistic attention due to lack of frames), and Jedi Knight 2 for textures, since Dark Forces has sappy textures by today's standards. Hope that is of some help. df2 /b jedi.bm df2 /f dark.fme wax2 wookie.wax Remember those commands, you'll need them soon.:) 0 Share this post Link to post
ellmo Posted July 30, 2003 That should be a lotta help, Grimm. Thanks. BTW, Is there any DF mod, patch or whatever, that allows a mouse freelook? 0 Share this post Link to post
XDelusion Posted July 30, 2003 No, no patches for Dark Forces, and Lucas Arts will not release the source. :( 0 Share this post Link to post
ellmo Posted July 30, 2003 ReX said:Here are a couple that I've done: The Darkest Hour Dawn: A Prelude Whee, man! Those look very solid. Now I remember seeing those screenies some days before. Great Job out there, Rex. Hope You won't get annoyed If I 'borrow' some ideas, uh? 0 Share this post Link to post
