i stuck it up in incoming on monday, but it's not there now. it's been archived into levels/doom2 already. so how do you lot know it's /newstuff? (cyc-a.zip)

it's my first upload, i'm totally unknowing as to how it works!

oh right, i found the /newstuff folder, it's actually a real folder, heh. gawd. it's just that i got it ready for /newstuff last friday then my net connection went down for two days so i was paranoid about it not being in this week! i need to find out what people think before i start on cyc-b.wad :-)

Yes, that's where the name comes from, and it dates back many years, to when the archive was at ftp.cdrom.com or infant2.sphs.indiana.edu (1994).

"/newstuff" is a directory in the Doom Community Archive; the weekly feature here at Doomworld is "The /newstuff Chronicles".

Anyway, I believe the response will be favourable. :) Have you watched Rich's demo yet?
