St. Doom Posted December 25, 2003 Can anyone please tell me a good total replacement for Doom/2, like wolfendoom, but with a more of a fantasy feel, but not the Final Fantasy wad, the E3M5 can't be beat b/c of a tree blocking the way. 0 Share this post Link to post
Skunkboy Kyle Posted December 25, 2003 I don't know why that post made no sense but it didn't... but anyway, I guess you're looking for a good fantasy TC. I don't know any but you could play Hexen/Heretic since they're on the same engine. 0 Share this post Link to post
St. Doom Posted December 25, 2003 .... *stupid newbie question* Where can I get the Hexen and Heretic sorry to bother you. 0 Share this post Link to post
myk Posted December 25, 2003 Try the shareware episode of Heretic and the demo of Hexen. Then get the full games where schepe said if you like them (you might also be able to find copies on eBay or something, but I don't know.) 0 Share this post Link to post
Naked Snake Posted December 25, 2003 And if it turns out you like Heretic and Hexen, I might suggest Strife, which is pretty sweet too. You can DL the demo here. You can nab Hack, a now free add-on for Doom 2 at this location. 0 Share this post Link to post

I got both on eBay (including the Deatchkings add on) and paid significantly less for all of them than the id store charges for one game. Sorry to say that but those prices are a total rip off. 0 Share this post Link to post
